Corinna and Robbie came back for our sixth visit to Scanno so we could be present at the première of the play Estate ’34 (Summer of 34) performed by the theatre group Lo Stormo in memory of photographer Hilde Lotz-Bauer's stay in Scanno in the 1930s.
By accident we came across the players rehearsing and were introduced to the company - Director: Michela Nicolai; Writer: Fabiana Pesce; Actors: Camilla Paoletti, Fabiana Pesce, Giacinta Pittaluga, Diletta Ronga and Audio and Lights Technician: Matteo Esposito.

Maria Pia Silla had arranged for Corinna to try on a Scannese costume provided by Loreta Silano of La Violetta which she then paraded around town.

The play was staged late at night in a very atmospheric square which had a natural stage and steps leading up behind.
